Jury Duty and Civic Leave

Our Commitment to Civic Responsibility

We believe in supporting our employees in fulfilling their civic duties. If you are summoned for jury duty or as a witness in a legal proceeding, the company provides up to 10 days of fully paid Civic Leave per year. To request this leave, you must provide a copy of your summons to your manager and HR as soon as you receive it. While on jury duty, we pay your full salary; however, we ask that you remit any daily stipends provided by the court (excluding travel reimbursement) back to the company. If your service is expected to last longer than 10 days, please contact HR to discuss an extension or the use of PTO. Supporting the judicial process is a shared responsibility of all citizens, and we ensure you aren't financially penalized for doing so.

Voting and Volunteerism

The company also provides up to 4 hours of paid time off on election days to ensure you have the opportunity to vote. We recommend scheduling this time at the beginning or end of your workday to minimize disruption to your team. Beyond voting, we also encourage community engagement through our 'Volunteer Day' program. Every employee is granted one paid day per year to volunteer for a non-profit organization of their choice. This is a great way to give back to the communities where we live and work. You can log your volunteer hours in the HRIS under the 'Community Impact' category. We are proud of the positive influence our employees have outside of the office and are happy to support these important civic contributions. Being a good corporate citizen starts with each of us.
