Understanding Your Paystub

Decoding Earnings and Deductions

Your digital paystub is available for viewing 24 hours prior to pay day within the Payroll Portal. The document is divided into three primary sections: Gross Earnings, Taxes, and Voluntary Deductions. Gross Earnings include your base salary plus any overtime or bonus payments for that period. The Taxes section details federal, state, and local withholdings based on your W-4 status. Finally, Voluntary Deductions cover your portions of health insurance premiums, 401(k) contributions, and any other benefits you've opted into. It is critical to review your paystub every cycle to ensure all data is accurate. If you notice an error in your hours or withholdings, contact the Payroll team immediately via an HR support ticket.

Updating Withholding and Direct Deposit

If you have recently experienced a major life event, such as marriage or the birth of a child, you may need to update your tax withholding information. You can submit a new W-4 form directly through the Payroll Portal at any time. Similarly, if you wish to change where your paycheck is deposited, you can update your Direct Deposit details in the 'Banking' section. Please note that changes to direct deposit can take up to one full pay cycle to verify; during this time, you may receive a physical check at your registered home address. Keeping your financial information up to date ensures your compensation is handled smoothly and without interruption.
