Remote Work and Home Office Policy

Maintaining a Secure Home Environment

Our remote work policy is designed to provide flexibility while maintaining the highest security standards. When working from home, you must use your company-issued laptop and always connect via the corporate VPN. Never use personal computers for work tasks, as these lack our security monitoring and encryption tools. Ensure your home WiFi is protected by a strong password and that your 'Home Office' is a private space where others cannot see your screen. We provide a one-time 'Home Office Stipend' of $500 for all new hires to purchase an ergonomic chair or a second monitor. Maintaining a professional and secure home setup is your responsibility. Remote work is a privilege that relies on mutual trust and high-quality digital hygiene. Stability in your remote connection is vital for team success.

Expectations for Availability and Conduct

Remote employees are expected to be online and available during their core team hours (typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time). Use Slack and Teams to signal your presence and join all mandatory video meetings with your camera on. While remote work allows for flexibility, it is not a substitute for childcare or other personal responsibilities during work hours. We encourage 'Digital Detox' breaks throughout the day to prevent burnout. If you plan to work from a location other than your registered home address for more than three days, you must notify your manager for tax and insurance compliance. Conduct standards remain the same regardless of your physical location; harassment or unprofessional behavior on digital channels is treated with the same severity as in-person misconduct. We are a results-oriented culture that values output over hours spent at a desk. Clarity in communication is the key to successful remote collaboration.
